One of the most comprehensive books on Grinnell from the 40's-50's and 60's has just been published.

Written by Dave Adkins,Ph.D a Grinnell native (that is born and raised in Grinnell) as he remembers Grinnell from that period. The book brings out memories that most everyone from those years will remember or may be friends with people they know today who can remember many of the chapters of the book.
